Arcola Creative Network

Are you aged 18-24 and looking for a career in the creative industries?

Arcola Theatre's Creative Network helps young people to take their first step into a career in the creative industries.  We offer young people receiving Job Seekers Allowance a range of  six-month job opportunites, working for some of the most exciting and creative companies in London.

The Creative Network has been developed in partenership with the London Borough of Hackney using funds from the Department of Work and Pension's Future Jobs Fund.  To find out if you are eligible for the Future Jobs Fund, please contact your local Job Centre Plus quoting the relevant vacancy number:

Writers & Actors

Arcola Theatre does not accept unsolicited scripts or actor CVs; as we have neither a full time Literary Manager nor a Casting Manager and feel it would be unfair to accept unsolicited material without a view to reading it in the near future.

We would suggest submitting new writing work to venues like the Soho Theatre & Writers Centre, the Bush, The Royal Court or The National Theatre, all of which have proactive Literary Departments and accept unsolicited work. Alternatively you might like to join our Writers Group.

All casting is carried out using agents, casting advisors or Spotlight.
